This past year, as I have walked all over the city, I have continually come across these beautiful and somewhat macabre drip paintings on the sidewalks. They are all over the place.
They are the work of a Brooklyn-based artist named Paul Richard. I have posted a couple of these before, but I felt that a gallery showing was in order.
I always try to look up as much as I can, but sometimes, you need to look down, too.
