The artist is a man named Gino De Dominicis who was very much an outsider. He used distorted features quite often in his work. This was one of his last pieces. I has been exhibited in several other places including outside the Milan Cathedral. They found this deconsecrated church where it could fit (it's over 75 feet long!) in Foligno.
