Richard, I just came across this and enjoyed reading it. Just got home today from a Hester reunion in Abilene, TX... Family Reunion for branch from Elijah Hester (1841-1907), buried in Flintville TN. His lineage tracks back to Johannes Hester as well.
Hi Tim! I would be fascinated to see what you have in the way of dates and places etc. going back that far. I get a little suspect of how accurate I am in the middle of all the Francises. Elijah looks like he was the brother of my ancestor Roling - both sons of Buck and Amy Malone! My email is rmhtoaster@aol.com.
Your dates are consistent, but with the various sources I’ve seen they all seem to vary slightly during those years. The most detail I have is from Ancestry but have also followed GENi.
Richard, I too am a Hester. I was told I am also a descendant of Andrew Hester and would love to connect to discover more of my tree and if our branches intertwine.

How interesting! Do you know how you descend? Whereabouts do you live now?
My cousin has done the research I need to ask her for it to show exactly how. I live in Oklahoma now
YOU, my dear man, have an amazing brain!!
Perhaps merely an idle one, lol!!! xoxox
